# Live video virtual backgrounds

Changing live video backgrounds is a technique used to add visual interest and variety to live video interviews. By switching backgrounds, you can create a more dynamic and private viewing experience and keep participants engaged.

### 1 - Add Image

Allows you to add a background image from your device.

### 2 - Update name of image

Allows you to update the name of the image.

### 3 - Show image

Displays a larger view of the image.

### 4 - Delete image

Deletes the image from the virtual background list.

### Important notes about virtual backgrounds

-   Users with the required permission will be able to access the new virtual backgrounds management page under the **Admin** tab.
-   Client administrators have this permission by default.
-   Virtual backgrounds can be set during the [live video setup](/doc/167ad5b2-5806-40cd-920e-431a04e7b5ce) within the live video interview room.
