# Documents

Documents settings let you add one or more documents to an on-demand (video or voice) or live interview stage. When you add documents to an interview stage, candidates invited to interview can access the document in different locations, based on the type of interview to which they are invited.

Common examples include job descriptions, interviewer guides, evaluation forms, candidate briefs, infographics, and market briefings. Documents are not supported for on-demand text interview stages.

* **On-demand video**: Candidates access documents on the Welcome page, under *Featured Resources > Job Description*.
* **On-demand voice**: Candidates access documents from the header, under *Resources > Documents*.
* **Live video**: Candidates access documents from the
  * Header, under *Resources > Documents*
  * Documents tab in the interview room
  * Link available within the email invitation
* **Live voice and Live in person**: Candidates access documents from the
  * Header, under *Resources > Documents*
  * Link available within the email invitation

## Open the Documents section for a stage

1. Open the job in **Job Summary** (you can navigate to the **Jobs** tab and search for the target job requisition).
2. Scroll to (or select) the interview stage you want to manage (for example, **Stage 1** or **Stage 2**, or a custom stage name).
3. In the stage settings/card, locate the **Documents** section.
4. If the section is collapsed, expand it (for example, click the section header or the **plus (+) icon**) to view the files attached to that stage.

## Control who can see a document

Once you add a document to an interview stage, you can select the **Participant** and **Candidate** check boxes in the Documents area of the interview stage to set the viewing permissions for each document.

* **Participant** refers to internal interview participants/reviewers (such as recruiters or hiring managers).
* **Candidate** refers to the applicant.
