# Devices You Can Use to Take Your Interview

## Device Requirements

To successfully complete a HireVue interview, you will need:

* A supported device (see compatible options below)
* A functioning camera (built-in or external)
* A working microphone (built-in or external)
* A stable internet connection

## Compatible Devices

### Computers

* **Windows:** Windows 10 or newer
* **Mac:** macOS X 10.12 (Sierra) or newer

### Mobile Devices

* **Android:** Smartphones with front-facing camera
  * Mobile app: Android 8.0+
  * Mobile browser: Android 8.0+ with latest Chrome browser
* **Apple:** iPhone or iPad with front-facing camera
  * Mobile app: iOS 13+
  * Mobile browser: iOS 15+ with Safari mobile browser 15+

> **Important:** Chromium devices are not supported

* **Microsoft Edge:** Latest version
* **Safari:** Version 15 or higher

## Internet Connection Requirements

### On-Demand Interviews

* **Minimum speed:** 100 kbps
* **Recommended speed:** 350 kbps
* Compatible with all supported devices

### Live Interviews

* **Minimum speed:** 300 kbps
* **Recommended speed:** 500 kbps
